A popular former Mumbles pub is going under the hammer at auction.
The Oyster Lounge, at Western Lane, which closed its doors for the final time back in February, is now up for grabs for a cool £295,000.
It is being auctioned online by John Pye Property, on July 29 and 30.
The former pub, which used to be a place where bands and musicians would regularly perform, occupies a prominent position in close proximity to the Swansea bay seafront.
It has also been a popular place for people to go and play snooker, pool, darts and watch live sports.
When the pub closed, the team behind it wrote on Facebook it had “become a victim of a sign of the times”, and shared a warning which read: ‘Support pubs and clubs that support live music! Use them or lose them’.
The ground floor comprises an entry foyer, main bar area, cellar, stock room and ladies, gents and disabled wcs.
At first floor level there is a main bar area, rear bar area, snooker room, stock room, store cupboard and loos.
A self-contained three bedroom flat is located over the second floor.
The property offers potential for a residential redevelopment, subject to planning permission.
